Regional Collaboration

What is the Great Lakes Bay Regional Alliance?

The Great Lakes Bay Regional Alliance is an unprecedented collaboration of Midland, Bay, Isabella and Saginaw counties. The purpose is to build stronger, more vibrant communities. The goal? To attract investors, business and industry, and skilled workers and visitors.

Through attraction, expansion, collaboration, legislative impact, positive perception, and region unity, the alliance works towards strength- not just in one county but throughout the region.

The theme “Where Innovation Flows" serves as a reminder of the value of our water resources and the vast intellectual capital and inventive spirit that have been part of the region for centuries.

Log on to www.greatlakesbay.com and see why this Great Lakes Bay Region is a leading region in Michigan, helping the state to move to a new economic model, and helping the region showcase the many "gems" that make this a great place to work, live and have fun. The website provides information on the programs and initiatives underway with the Alliance. It helps connect the regional Leadership Institute graduates, known as the Great Lakes Bay Regional Ambassadors...and connects to all the supporting Chamber, Economic Development, and Convention & Visitor Bureau organizations in the region.
