MyMichigan Health Welcomes New Pediatrician in Alma

ALMA, Mich. – Families in Gratiot County and surrounding communities will have expanded access to pediatric care as MyMichigan Health welcomes Dipsal Timila, M.D., to MyMichigan Pediatrics in Alma.

Dr. Timila provides comprehensive pediatric care for children from infancy through adolescence, with a commitment to delivering compassionate, family-centered care and building lasting relationships with patients and their families.

MyMichigan Pediatrics will provide comprehensive care for newborns, including delivery room management, newborn resuscitation, circumcision and breastfeeding support. Dr. Timila also treats a wide range of pediatric conditions including asthma, headaches, abdominal pain, ear infections, constipation, skin conditions, sports injuries and common behavioral health concerns such as ADHA, anxiety and depression.

Most importantly, MyMichigan Pediatrics wants to create a welcoming and supportive environment where families feel heard, respected and involved in decisions about their child’s health.

“I chose pediatrics as my profession because of my desire to care for children and support families through every stage of a child’s growth and development,” said Dr. Timila. “I value building long-term relationships with my young patients and helping to promote healthy lifestyles, preventive care and overall well-being throughout their lives.”

Originally from Nepal, Dr. Timila completed his pediatric residency through the University of Michigan Health Sparrow Hospital/Michigan State University Pediatric Residency Program after earning his medical degree from the Southeast University in Nanjing, China. He is board-eligible in pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Michigan Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

MyMichigan Pediatrics is located at 315 E. Warwick Drive, Suite D, in Alma.
