Annual Awards Banquet
In 1957, the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce began what would become a time-honored tradition to honor Mt. Pleasant’s exceptional citizens. Held each year in March, this night of celebration honors individuals and businesses from the Mt. Pleasant community, including the Large and Small Business of the Year, Innovation Award, Economic Impact Award, and all of the best volunteers from service clubs and nonprofit organizations with the Shirley M. Decker Eagle Awards. The Chamber’s highest honor, the Citizen of the Year Award, is the highlight of the evening as it is a surprise to the recipient and all attendees. The Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Banquet is an award ceremony you don’t want to miss.

Annual Chamber Golf Outing
Held toward the end of July of each year, this golf outing offers members the opportunity to connect with one another over 18 holes of golf at a Chamber Member course. But, the fun does not stop there; the day includes a silent auction with incredible prizes, hilarious and engaging games at on-course sponsored holes, a 50/50 raffle and more! If you needed one more excuse to golf, we have you covered!
Party of Fore Women's Golf Outing
After a huge inaugural event in May 2024, the Chamber hosted the 2nd Party of Fore Women’s Golf Outing sponsored by the Dow Championship in May 2025. Hosted at a Chamber Member's golf course, this women’s golf event features 9 holes and lunch in a fun, laid-back social environment, not to mention a great way to meet and network with business professionals in the Mt. Pleasant community!
Legislative Breakfast
During this breakfast, state legislative panelists give presentations with the latest updates from Lansing, new policy initiatives, and the most recent actions of the governor of Michigan. Presentations are followed by a Q&A period that allows attendees to ask more specific questions on issues that matter to them.
