MMI Announces First-Ever “Pathways to Possibilities” Golf Outing Fundraiser
Community Event Supports Inclusion, Independence, and Opportunity
Mount Pleasant, Mich. – Mid-Michigan Industries (MMI) will host its first-ever “Pathways to Possibilities” Golf Outing on Thursday, September 17, 2026, bringing together golfers, businesses, and community supporters to raise funds for programs that empower individuals with disabilities through employment, training, and community engagement.
For more than 50 years, MMI has helped people with disabilities build skills, gain meaningful employment, increase independence, and strengthen community connections. The outing will directly support these efforts and help expand opportunities across central Michigan.
"At MMI, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live with purpose, dignity, and belonging," said Cherie Johnson, Executive Director of MMI. "This event brings our community together to invest in people and create pathways to greater independence and opportunity."
Mid-Michigan Industries (MMI) is a nonprofit dedicated to creating disability-inclusive communities through employment, training, and support services. MMI's mission is to help individuals discover their strengths, achieve their goals, and participate fully in community life.
Golfers of all skill levels are invited to participate. The event will feature networking opportunities, food, contests, prizes, and sponsorship opportunities for local businesses and organizations.
Every registration, sponsorship, and donation helps MMI continue removing barriers and building opportunities for the individuals and families it serves.
