Dart Bank Announces Promotions of Lennox Armstrong and Mellissa Sherman
Appointments strengthen leadership across the Bank’s mortgage and payments divisions.
MASON, Mich., April 2, 2026 – Dart Bank is pleased to announce the promotions of Lennox Armstrong and Mellissa Sherman within the organization. The promotions recognize their contributions, which continue to strengthen the Bank’s payments and mortgage divisions.
Lennox Armstrong has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Business Development and Sales for WestTown Payments, Dart Bank’s in-house payments division. In this role, he will continue to lead efforts to increase business opportunities by building strategic partnerships, expanding into new markets, and identifying opportunities by collaborating with cross-organizational teams.
With 28 years of experience in fintech, banking, and merchant acquiring, Lennox has held leadership positions spanning sales, operations, and business development. Since joining WestTown Payments in 2023, he has successfully expanded merchant portfolios, grown partner channels, and strengthened payment solutions for regulated industries. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Hampton University, is an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi, and is committed to mentoring and supporting community initiatives.
Mellissa Sherman has been promoted to Senior Mortgage Banker, where she will continue working closely with clients to guide them through the home financing process, ultimately helping them achieve their homeownership goals.
Mellissa joined the Bank in 2022 and brings 25 years of banking experience to her role. Beginning her career as a teller, she has advanced through a variety of positions, including customer service representative, lender, branch manager, and mortgage banker, gaining comprehensive knowledge cross multiple areas of the banking industry. A graduate of the Perry School of Banking, Mellissa was recognized on the Michigan State Housing and Development Authority’s (MSHDA) Top Loan Officers list for 2025, underscoring her dedication to helping homebuyers secure affordable housing.
