The gift is part of the College’s Rooted in Community, Growing for Tomorrow campaign, which supports strategic investments across Mid Michigan College, including health sciences programs, skilled trades education, the new Morey Event Center on the Mt. Pleasant Campus, and campus beautification initiatives. These efforts are creating modern environments that prepare students for meaningful careers and forge strong connections between students, faculty, staff, and the communities Mid serves.
Bandit’s investment reflects the company’s longstanding commitment to workforce development and advancing opportunities in skilled trades throughout Mid-Michigan. The named welding lab will support hands-on training for students pursuing careers in welding and related technical fields, helping to strengthen the region’s workforce pipeline for years to come.
“Bandit is proud to partner with the Mid Michigan College Foundation in naming the welding lab, strengthening our commitment to both business growth and the development of skilled trades across Mid-Michigan,” shared Bandit CEO Craig Davis. “We hope our name within this facility represents more than 40 years of providing meaningful career opportunities and demonstrates our long-term commitment to the local community.”
“We thank the Foundation team for this opportunity and look forward to building on this partnership in the years ahead.”
“This investment from Bandit Industries represents the kind of community partnership that transforms lives and creates lasting opportunities for our students,” said Alexa Carey, Executive Director of the Mid Michigan College Foundation. “By supporting skilled trades education and helping enhance our welding facilities in Harrison, Bandit is directly investing in the future workforce of our region and empowering students to pursue rewarding, high-demand careers close to home.”
