Members First Credit Union is committed to creating thriving communities. From sharing financial education, to stocking their Little Free Libraries with books, to volunteering with nonprofits, sponsoring local events, and partnering with schools to bring real-life money lessons into classrooms—they do it all for one simple reason, for the joy of it. 

Members First Credit Union’s dedication to education, housing, and wellness has made a lasting impact in Isabella County. Through partnerships with Mt. Pleasant Middle School, Mt. Pleasant High School, and Isabella County RSD, the credit union has provided financial education to students, equipping them with essential money management skills. Members First has also donated 120 financial education books and other titles to the Little Free Libraries at its two Mount Pleasant branches, ensuring greater access to valuable resources. 

Last year, Members First Credit Union partnered with 16 organizations in Isabella County, contributing 167.45 volunteer hours and nearly $16,775 in donations and sponsorships to support local initiatives. The credit union also fostered community connections by sharing over 350 cups of coffee at Coffee on Us pop ups, supporting local businesses, and engaging with community members meaningfully.
