Wildfire Credit Union Welcomes Darrell Burchfield as Chief Technology and Information Officer

[Saginaw, MI] – [May 27, 2026] – Wildfire Credit Union has selected Darrell Burchfield as their Chief Technology and Information Officer. Darrell has amassed prior IT leadership experience with multiple organizations, including Two Rivers Financial Group, Site Services, Inc., and Dow Corning Corporation. He brings an impressive list of credentials to the Wildfire executive team, having previously managed IT teams of over 150 people, executed long-term strategic campaigns across numerous technological platforms, and spearheaded a global communications program that spans four continents.

As a Saginaw native, Darrell is excited to be returning to the area. He previously coached wrestling for Swan Valley High School after his own NCAA All-American wrestling career. With his combined experience in developing future leaders and high-performing teams, he recognizes the value of accountability and continuous development. Wildfire is excited to see him implement his team-centered leadership style grounded in mentorship, innovation, and forward momentum.
