Annual Swine Dining Pig Ticket Raffle Returns to Benefit 4-H and Breast Health
ALMA, MI — Under the auspices of the MyMichigan Health Foundation, MyMichigan Medical Center Alma has announced the return of the Swine Dining Pig Ticket Raffle. The raffle, now in its third year, aims to raise funds for local 4H programs and the Medical Center's Breast Health Fund, which supports patients and families served by MyMichigan Health through targeted medical and community support services.
Tickets are on sale now for just $10 each. With only 1,000 tickets available, participants are encouraged to act quickly to secure their chance to win. The raffle drawing will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2026, at 1p.m. in the Hospital Entrance lobby of MyMichigan Medical Center Alma, where the announcement of the two lucky winners will be made.
“As a non-profit health system, we know the importance of addressing local needs through meaningful programs,” said Becky Church, director, MyMichigan Health Foundation. “The Breast Health Fund directly supports patients who may otherwise delay or forgo screening or diagnostic testing due to financial or transportation challenges. Pairing this effort with support for our local 4H youth makes this raffle a meaningful investment in both the health and future of our community.”
Trisha Grover and Tammy Story, MyMichigan Medical Center Alma employees who continue to champion this event, shared their excitement. Grover stated, “The Swine Dining Pig Raffle brings people together for a fun cause while making a real difference. It’s inspiring to see how our community rallies around neighbors in need." Story added, “Every ticket purchased helps provide critical breast health services and supports our local 4H programs. It’s a simple way for people to give back and know their dollars are staying right here in our community.”
Funds raised through the Breast Health Fund help remove barriers to care and expand access to essential services for individuals across Gratiot County. Donations support prevention and screening services, diagnostic testing and interpretation, mammograms, breast ultrasound, MRI and biopsy procedures, breast cancer genetic counseling, post-surgical support materials, educational services and equipment, as well as transportation assistance for eligible patients. By supporting these critical resources, the fund helps ensure more individuals can access timely screenings, early detection and compassionate follow-up care close to home.
