Thank you for nominating an individual for a Shirley M. Decker Eagle Award, sponsored by Mercantile Bank! These awards acknowledge the incredible volunteers who “soar” above in their service. Each awardee must be nominated by the organization they serve with.


A qualifying nominee will be an individual who: 

  • Is an active volunteer with a nonprofit organization based in Isabella County.

  • Has gone above and beyond in their service with a nonprofit organization through their leadership, time, and/or talent.

The awardee will be recognized and receive their award at the 70th Annual Awards Banquet on February 27th, 2027, at the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. 

Event registration will go live on the Chamber website on Monday, November 2, 2026.
