Outstanding Citizen of the Year Nominations

Nomination Deadline: Sunday, November 29th

Thank you for nominating an individual for the Outstanding Citizen of the Year! This is the highest honor that the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce bestows on an individual, and the awardee will be kept secret until the night of the award ceremony!

A qualifying nominee will be an individual who: 

• Has demonstrated a commitment of lifelong dedication to Mt. Pleasant through a meaningful career and selfless community involvement.

• Has established an organization, event, program, or initiative benefiting Isabella County community members.

• Whose employer/business is a member of the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce.

• *Three (3) letters of recommendation are required to be submitted with the application.

The awardee will be recognized and receive their award at the 70th Annual Awards Banquet on February 27th, 2027, at the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. 

Registration will go live on the Chamber website on Monday, November 2, 2026.
