Young Professionals Network

The Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce launched a new program in 2009 called the Young Professionals Network (YPN). There is no membership fee and the cost to attend the programs is affordable for everyone. The goal of the Young Professionals Network is to help the young professionals in the Mt. Pleasant area continue to get professional development, networking, and volunteer opportunities. 

The Young Professionals Network provides tools you can utilize in a real world setting. Whether you are just starting out in your career or you are fairly established, you can benefit by joining in the Mt. Pleasant Young Professionals Network. As a young professional in the Mt. Pleasant Area you are an asset to this community and we would like to help you become successful in your future endeavors!

Who should get involved? 

The Mt. Pleasant Area Young Professionals Network is a group of young professionals ages 20 - 40 that meets several times a year to network and have fun! Employers are encouraged to support their young professionals through learning about the program and possibly assisting with the program fees. YPN is now on Facebook! Become a fan today!

When will the Young Professionals Network meet?

The Young Professionals Network will meet quarterly to learn about hot topics that effect young professionals today. Mark your calendar because the kick-off is in January and more information will be sent out as it gets finalized!

Are there any costs to attend? 

There is a cost to attend programs, but there is no membership fees. The cost of the program depends on its location and time of day so it will vary from program to program. The price of programs will be in between $10.00 - $20.00.
