Barbara Cataldo,
originally from Oscoda, Michigan graduated from Central Michigan
University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration. She majored in Marketing with minors in Advertising
and Business Administration. After graduating from CMU, Barbara was
employed as Marketing Coordinator for Powell Fabrication and
Manufacturing, a manufacturer of Chlorine and Bleach Equipment in St.
Louis, Michigan.
In 1998, Barbara went to work for the
Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce. She started at the
Chamber in the position of Membership Director, but after the birth of
her daughter took on the position of Marketing Director.
Barbara and her husband Chris
have two children, Alison and Nickolas. Barbara is a volunteer
Art Docent where she teaches young children about Art. She also enjoys
volunteering at her daughters’ school and her son’s daycare.
Her duties include creating brochures, program materials, annual
reports, the Chamber Newsletter and other promotional publications. In
addition to graphic design, she supervises special projects, such as
Membership Directory and Community Guide and the Mt. Pleasant/Isabella
County Map.
