The Mt. Pleasant Area
Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the promotion of
April Osburn to Vice President of
Membership & Programs. In this newly created position April will be
responsible for membership growth and retention, the Ambassador program,
Referrals Over Breakfast, the Golf Outing and many other Chamber
programs and seminars.
April has been a
dedicated employee at the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce for
three years. Her career started at the Chamber as a temporary
Administrative Assistant and she was quickly promoted to Program
Coordinator almost six months later.
April is very involved
in the community. “I believe in giving back to the community where I
live and work,” says April. A Board Member for the Child & Family
Enrichment Council, volunteering her time to Junior Achievement, the Amy
Otteman Memorial Classic and the Central Michigan Community Hospital
Zipper Open are just a few of April’s many volunteer roles.
She earned a Bachelors
of Science in Public Administration Degree from Ferris State University,
and she and her husband, Nick, live in Mt. Pleasant and have a two year
old son, Carter. In her free time, April enjoys
reading, skiing, and spending time
with her family.
