The Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce is managed by a professional staff with a combined 29 years of Chamber experience.  We are eager to meet the needs of your business. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Lisa Hadden

Lisa Hadden received her BA in Secondary Education from Central Michigan University with a major in English and minor in Spanish.  After several years as a teacher, professional writer and program developer, she returned to CMU and received her MA degree in English Composition and Communications.  She has held numerous executive positions including the President & CEO of several non-profit organizations in community and economic development, and health care administration. Her work has taken her to positions in urban core and remote rural areas.  Lisa additionally has faculty appointments with Saginaw Valley State University, Michigan State University and Northwestern University.  She has served as Chamber President since 2008.

April Osburn

April Osburn, Vice President of Membership & Programs, has been employed with the chamber since 2004.  April has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Public Administration with a focus on Economics from Ferris State University.  She is in charge of Membership Development, Business Expo, the annual Golf Outing, Citizen of the Year, Referrals Over Breakfast program, Business Over Breakfast, Business After Hours, Le Tour de Mont Pleasant and the Young Professionals Network.  April also handles the different sponsorship opportunities that are available to all chamber members.

Barbara Cataldo

Barbara Cataldo, graduated from Central Michigan University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  She majored in Marketing with minors in Advertising and Business Administration and has worked for the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce since 1998.  She started at the Chamber in the position of Membership Director, and later took the position of Marketing Director part-time for 8 years and now is currently full time. 
Barbara is responsible for creating brochures, program materials, E-Newsletter, the Chamber Newsletter and other promotional publications. In addition to graphic design, she supervises special projects, such as Membership Directory and Community Guide and the Mt. Pleasant/Isabella County Map.       

Miranda Walker

Miranda Walker obtained a Bachelor of Applied Arts Degree from Central Michigan University in 2007, with a major in Apparel Merchandising and a minor in Business Administration.  She has worked for the Chamber since 2008, first as an Office Assistant, then as the Communications Coordinator, and now takes on the role of Office Manager. Miranda is responsible for the Chamber’s accounting, website, and technical support. She is also the Volunteer Coordinator for Le Tour de Mont Pleasant.

Morgan Orr

Morgan Orr is currently a student at Central Michigan University, planning to graduate in December 2011 with a major in Interpersonal Communications and a minor in Event Management. Her current title is "Communications Coordinator” with the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce under our new roof that includes the Chamber, the Mt. Pleasant Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Middle Michigan Development Corporation. Her duties consist of office coordination, phone triage, meeting scheduling, and assisting with chamber programs and events such as Le Tour de Mont Pleasant and the Annual Golf Outing.
